Holiday at Lake Müggelsee in Berlin

Berlin is one of the most exciting and lively metropolises in Europe. At the same time, the city is surrounded by an extensive forest and water landscape that you will not find in any other large city in Germany.

Numerous rivers such as the Spree, Havel and Dahme connect many large and small lakes, creating a unique water landscape. Müggelsee, the largest lake in Berlin, belongs to this fascinating labyrinth of rivers, canals and lakes.

The Küsterwiesen holiday houses are located on a picturesque coastal property directly on the Müggelspree near the old fishing village of Rahnsdorf.

The vacancy houses

The holiday village, located on a water property of 3,000 m², consists of five wooden vacancy houses and a reception. From here, by boat or bicycle, you can quickly reach the nearby Müggelsee lake and numerous rivers and canals, picturesque taverns by the water and other attractive excursion destinations.

In the front part of the complex, there are three log houses located next to each other; then, there is a larger and smaller bungalow and a reception on the other part of the complex.

A small canal flows through the plot, dividing it into two halves. Both parts of the property are connected by a small bridge.

All houses are tastefully and individually decorated as well as fully equipped for summer and winter.

The area offers shopping for daily needs and various restaurants. The centre of Berlin can be reached by car public transportation systems in about 30 minutes.

Free time and recreation

The holiday resort and its immediate surroundings offer numerous leisure activities. In addition, the rich entertainment and cultural program of Berlin causes nothing to be desired by both young and old.

On the area of the property, you can rent rowing or bicycle boats as well as kayaks and SUPs. On Müggelsee Lake, you can rent sailing-, motorboats or surfboards or even taking courses. This place can be reached on foot in approximately 20 minutes.

We also invite you to launch your own boat on the waterfront during the holidays.

In the immediate vicinity, there is a beautiful, picturesque landscape, numerous rivers, canals and lakes with several bathing areas and restaurants to visit. It is hard to imagine that these are located so close to the metropolis Berlin.

A bike tour through the beautiful pine forests in the south of Berlin or around Müggelsee Lake will also lead you through your dream landscapes, next to numerous bathing areas and restaurants serving snacks. You can rent bikes directly on the site. In addition, there are bicycle rentals nearby.

Alternatively, you can simply relax on the terrace, in a beach chair or in a pavilion and enjoy the views of the water. You also have direct access to water directly from our private property.
